Two Kyrgyz films win prizes at international festival in Sevastopol

Bishkek, May 23 / Kabar /. Two documentary films from Kyrgyzstan received prizes at international festival "Won Together", kyrgyzcinema.com reports.

The XIII International Festival of Documentary Films "Won Together" was held in Sevastopol from May 14 to 19.

The prize for the best debut was the film "Lessons of Aitmatov" (director Rysbai Sadykov).

The film "Thanks, Doctor!" (Directed by Adilet Karzoev) won the Special Press Prize "for the humanistic mission in documentary films".

Adilet Karzhoyev's film "Thanks, Doctor" (Kyrgyzstan, France, Poland, 2016, 26 min.) was included in the competition of documentaries "Reflection". The hero of the film is the famous Kyrgyz surgeon Ernst Akramov.

In total, 14 films from different countries - Russia, Poland, Belgium, Germany, France, etc. were selected for this competition.
