Two minor quakes recorded in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2020. /Kabar/. Two earthquakes with intensity 3 and 3.5 points were registered in Kyrgyzstan.

According to data from Institute of Seismology of the republic’s National Academy of Sciences, 3.5-magnitude quake with intensity was recorded on Sept. 8 at 9:04 p.m. on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Its tremors were felt in Pulgon and Kadamjai villages.

Second 3-magnitude earthquake was registered in Osh Oblast on Sept.9 at 5:57 a.m., its tremors were felt in Zhar-Bashy, Kara-Shybak villages.

According to preliminary data, no victims or destructions reported.
