Two people die from coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan over past day

Bishkek, May 25, 2020 / Kabar/. Over the past day in Kyrgyzstan, two people died from coronavirus, Deputy Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbolot Usenbaev told at a news briefing.

He said that one of them is the ex-speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament 70-years-old Mukar Cholponbaev. He died in the Republican Clinical Hospital.

Another 67-year-old man died in the joint territorial infectious diseases hospital of Zhayil region of Chui Oblast.

In total, 16 people died from coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan.

30 new COVID-19 cases have been registered today in Kyrgyzstan, 1,433 in total. 992 citizens have been recovered and discharged from hospitals, including 231 medical workers.
