UAE plans to show films based on the work of Kyrgyz writer Aitmatov

Bishkek, Nov. 21, 2017. /Kabar/. On the territory of the United Arab Emirates, it is planned to show feature films based on the works of the classic world literature writer Chyngiz Aitmatov. Ambassador Chyngyz Eshimbekov discussed the details of the event with Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development of the UAE, Mrs. Nura bint Mohamed Al Kaabi.

This idea was proposed in the framework of the 90th anniversary of the writer's birth. Moreover, the public of the United Arab Emirates will also get widely acquainted with the creativity of Aitmatov.

Aitmatov's books in Arabic were also presented to Mrs. Al Kaabi.

The sides discussed the main aspects of cooperation in the field of culture, which may be of mutual interest to both countries. They also exchanged views on cooperation development to attract youth and raise their awareness on countries’ culture, life, traditions and educational programs.
