Bishkek, Nov. 22, 2021 . / Kabar / . During a press conference in Bishkek on Monday, Kyrgyzstan’s reigning UFC flyweight champion (up to 56 kg) Valentina Shevchenko stated her readiness face Amanda Nunes for the third time.
"However, Nunes avoids this fight," she said.
Valentina Shevchenko and Amanda Nunes fought twice: in 2016 at UFC 196 and in 2017 at UFC 215. Both bouts ended in favor of Nunes.
This year, Kyrgyzstan’s Shevchenko defended her UFC flyweight champion title for the sixth time (up to 56.7 kg).
The athlete is 11 times Muay Thai World Champion, 3 times Kickboxing World Champion, 2 times MMA World Champion, South American Champion and Pan American Muay Thai Champion.
Shevchenko holds the title of "The Best Female Taiboxer in the World".
