Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2021 . / Kabar / . Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov received the team of Paralympic team of the republic.
The head of the Cabinet wished the athletes successful performances and new victories.
“With your sports results, you have proved that it’s possible to overcome all difficulties, and you have shown by personal example what willpower and commitment to the set goal are. At the upcoming Paralympic Games, the entire Kyrgyz people will be rooting for you. We wish successful performances to you," concluded Maripov, and handed the flag of Kyrgyzstan to Arystanbek Bazarkulov, a member of the Paralympic team.
On Aug. 24 – Sept. 5, Japan’s capital city Tokyo will host the 16th Paralympic Games.
Kyrgyzstanis Arystanbek Bazarkulov in para athletics (shot put) and Hayitkhon Khusan kyzy in para judo in the weight category to 57 kg among blind athletes won licenses for the upcoming sporting event.
