Bishkek, May 29, 2018 / Kabar /. The Ministry of Agriculture, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO UN) and the Global Program for Sustainable Livestock Development launch a new project in Kyrgyzstan to develop poultry and livestock in the country.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture Zhanybek Kerimaliev held meetings with coordinators of the FAO and the Global Program for Sustainable Livestock Production, Nesterov and Tereshenko, where the parties discussed the practical solutions of this project.
FAO expert in Central Asia Nesterov said that the project will be implemented in Kyrgyzstan in the fall of 2018. The project provides trainings on the selection of feed and feed additives, the selection of the right breed, zoohygiene, and other topical issues.
Kerimaliev said that this project is timely and the poultry industry of Kyrgyzstan needs support for further development. In turn, the Ministry of Agriculture will make every effort and provide the necessary support in the implementation of the project.
