Bishkek, June 13 / Kabar /. In Kyrgyzstan, as of June 1, 2017, the unemployment rate increased by 5.2% compared to the same period in 2016, chief of the department of the National Statistics Committee Gulnara Jailobaeva told Kabar Agency.
As of June 1, 2017, according to data of the Ministry of Labor, the number of unemployed population was more than 90 thousand people.
"The largest number of unemployed is in Jalal-Abad - 18,440 people and Osh region - 11,8 thousand people. Unemployed women in Kyrgyzstan makes 51.6%," she explained.
