UNICEF donates protective suits to Ministry of Emergency of Kyrgyzstan

The representative office of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the representative office of the Ministry of International Development of the United Kingdom in the Kyrgyz Republic rendered aid to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan.

The assistance consisted of protective suits in the amount of 680 pieces and 2 thousand pairs of rubber boots for a total of KGS 2 million 620 thousand.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergencies of Kyrgyzstan said that the ministry is actively working to combat the prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection in the republic.

“An important direction of ​​this work is the interaction with international and non-governmental organizations to provide assistance to carry out the relevant work,”the report said.

The assistance was rendered to the regional departments of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Kyrgyz Republic for employees involved in the work of medical observations and sanitary quarantine points.

The ministry expresses gratitude to the UNICEF Office in the Kyrgyz Republic for cooperation and assistance.
