Bishkek, July 15, 2021 . / Kabar / . Deputy Chaiwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Zhyldyz Bakashova met with UNICEF Representative in Kyrgyzstan Christine Jaulmes.
The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported that Zhyldyz Bakashova expressed gratitude to the organization for its support and assistance in overcoming the consequences of the pandemic.
She told about measures taken on the epidemiological situation in the country and the vaccination campaign.
In turn, UNICEF Representative in the Kyrgyz Republic Christine Jaulmes stressed the readiness of thr organization to consider the request and to support the priority areas and requests of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of counteraction to coronavirus infection, as well as issues related to improving state social support for children from families living below the poverty line.
In addition, UNICEF and the Ministry of Education and Science of the republic will select 400 schools to receive hygiene kits and 100 schools will be provided with tablets.
