Uninterrupted supply with heat in winter period is priority in Kyrgyz government’s work

Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2020 / Kabar /. Uninterrupted supply of the population, including social and other facilities, with electricity and heat, is a priority in the work of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov said.

The head of government visited Bishkek thermal power station to get acquainted with the preparation for the heating winter.

According to data of the National Energy Holding Company OJSC, for the autumn-winter period, the Bishkek thermal station needs 1,110,000 tons of coal, of which 760,000 tons is domestically produced, and 350,000 - imported. Currently, the supply of Kara-Keche coal to the thermal station in Bishkek is going according to plan.

The prime minister also got acquainted with the coal warehouse of the Bishkek thermal station, the control room and the progress of planned repairs.

As it became known, the repair of boilers and turbine generators is carried out in a timely manner.

“Particular attention should be paid not only to the timing of repairs, but also to the quality of work. Taking into account the fact that the energy system is under heavy load in winter, all work should be carried out taking into account the need for stable and uninterrupted supply of enterprises and the population with electricity and heat,” he said.

The prime minister gave a number of instructions for high-quality preparation for the upcoming heating season and uninterrupted supply of electricity and heat to industrial facilities.
