Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2020 / Kabar /. Currently, unreasonable inspections have a negative impact on the activities of local self-government bodies (LSG), deputy director of the LSG Unions Bekturgan Orozbaev told at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He said that in the Year of development of the regions there should have created favorable conditions for the work of local self-government bodies, so that local councils, city halls and regional centers could successfully play their role as the main "engines" of regional development.
“One of such favorable conditions should have been the reduction of inspections of local self-government bodies, since unreasonable inspections wreak havoc in the work of city halls and regional centers, create a destructive atmosphere, and generally slow down the improvement of living conditions on the ground,” he said.
At the same time, the deputy head added that in order to streamline inspections, a number of state policy measures were taken: a moratorium on inspections was introduced and a special law was adopted regulating inspections.
“Unfortunately, today it becomes clear that inspections of LSG bodies are not being reduced. A record number was registered by one of the rural municipalities, when there were 15 inspections in 9 months,” Orozbaev said.
In addition, he noted that violations are often committed by both the inspectors and the local government bodies themselves.
“At the moment, we ask you to stop the chaotic inspections and let the local government bodies work,” the deputy head addressed.
