Unique production facility in Central Asia launched in Bishkek

Bishkek, Sept. 28, 2021. / Kabar /. The launch of a new line of the plant for the production of rigid plastic packaging, financed by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF), allowed the company to strengthen its position in the Central Asian region.

RKDF continues to work within the framework of its mission to modernize the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, developing domestic production. The next step on this path was the opening of a new line of HTI Group LLC, a plant in the Bishkek FEZ for the production of harmless polymer packaging.

The funds of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund in the amount of USD 3 million were used by HTI Group LLC to expand the production area, as well as to purchase unique equipment of European production for applying dry printing, which allows producing products that have no analogues in Central Asia.

Chairman of the Board of the RKDF Artem Novikov noted the importance of the project's contribution to the development of the country's export opportunities: “RKDF finances projects aimed at export-orientedness, which in turn allows Kyrgyzstan to rise to a new stage of economic development. We are ready to continue supporting such projects with a full production cycle for the further development of exports and the inflow of foreign currency into the country, as well as the creation of new jobs,” he said.

The implementation of this project will increase the inflow of investments to Kyrgyzstan by expanding the export of products to the amount of up to USD 7 million per year, according to forecasts. In addition, the Company will increase payments to the state budget to KGS 23.6 million per year in the form of tax and social contributions.

HTI Group LLC is the largest player in the Central Asian market for plastic containers and is the only manufacturer of rigid polymer packaging in Kyrgyzstan. All products are made from certified granular polypropylene from global manufacturers and meet the requirements and quality standards of the EAEU. The produced packaging is safe and can be used for packaging, storage or disposal in a number of industries, including food and medical. The plant employs up to 85 people.
