Bishkek, April 13, 2022. / Kabar /. The construction of a unique tourist facility Solto Skyway Park will begin in Bishkek on April 20, the hallmark of which will be a cable car, Aizhan Kubanychbekova, director of foreign economic relations of the Solto Skyway Park company told reporters at Kabar News Agency.
She said that Solto Skyway Park is a new recreation area in Bishkek at an altitude of 1,200 meters.
“The park has no analogues in our country and is becoming a popular tourist destination. A cable car with a length of 4 km and including 3 stations will become a visiting card,” she said.
Thus, 3 stations:
- The Ak Beshim station includes park attractions, food courts and parking for cars;
- At Baitik station, there will be marriage registration areas, solemn banquet halls, conference halls, attractions: zipline, rodelbahn and tubing;
- Solto station includes a park area with a planetarium, a mosque, guest houses, walking paths, pavilions, an eco-zone for meditation and yoga, etc.
Kubanychbekova also pointed out that the SoIto Skyway Park cable car will be built with the participation of highly qualified specialists from the Austrian company Doppelmayr / Garaventa, the world leader in the production of cable cars and equipment for them.
“In this regard, the equipment used in construction will be environmentally friendly and safe to use. In turn, for the construction of the first stage of the project, 20 million dollars are needed,” the director summed up.
It should be noted that the project is being implemented as part of the implementation of the decrees of President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov “On measures to improve the management system in the field of investments and increase the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic”, “On declaring 2022 the year of protection of mountain ecosystems and climate sustainability”.
