‘United People - Developed Country’ forum kicks off in Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek

Bishkek, Nov. 12, 2020 /Kabar/. “United People – Developed Country” forum with the participation of Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, Prime Minister Sadyr Zhaparov and the Assembly of Peoples of Kyrgyzstan has begun in Bishkek on Thursday.

This forum is organized within the approval of the draft of Civil Integration Concept "Kyrgyz Zharany” (Kyrgyz Citizen).

The goals of this Concept are to create conditions for integration of the society based on democratic values and to form civil identity of Kyrgyz Zharany ensuring sustainable development of Kyrgyzstan.

Main tasks of the draft Concept are:

- strengthening tolerance and respect for diversity among all citizens;

- promotion of the national civic identity of Kyrgyz Zharany;

- language and education policy promotes social integration, civic awareness and respect for linguistic and cultural diversity;

- ensuring equal access to public and political participation for all citizens;

- preservation and development of cultural identity.

The event is also attended by representatives of over 20 international and non-governmental organizations.
