Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2022. / Kabar /. US Chargé d'Affaires ad interim in Kyrgyzstan Sonata Coulter expressed her readiness to assist the Bishkek Mayor’s Office in providing expert knowledge and experience in the fight against air pollution, the press service of the municipality said.
Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev held a meeting with US Chargé d'Affaires in Sonata Coulter.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the possibility of cooperation and activation of the institution of sister cities, cultural and educational exchange of experience.
The sides also raised the issue of improving air quality in Bishkek.
Sonata Coulter has expressed willingness to assist in providing expert knowledge and experience in air pollution control and municipal solid waste management in Bishkek, the report said.
