Use of bank cards becoming popular in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Nov. 3, 2018 / Kabar /. The use of bank cards is becoming popular in Kyrgyzstan.

By the end of 2017, there were 2 million payment cards in circulation. According to data of the National Bank, this is more than 3 times compared with 2013.

There are 1.4 thousand ATMs currently in Kyrgyzstan, the number of which increased by 1.7 times compared to 2013, and also there are 8.2 thousand payment terminals, according to magazine "Information and communication technologies in the Kyrgyz Republic 2013-2017" of the National Statistics Committee.
