Use of disputed areas by Tajikistan discussed in Parliament

Bishkek, Apr. 3, 2019. /Kabar/. The use of disputed areas by Tajikistan is discussed during the closed session of the Parliament, where the situation at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border is being considered, deputy Tabyldy Tillaev told journalists.

The meeting of the Parliament is held with the participation of Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev.

Tillaev said that today he had raised the issue on the fact that, for some reason, the citizens of Tajikistan are using the disputed territory.

"The question is raised about the return of these lands and the solution of this problem," he explained.

The deputy reminded that the issue of the need to give a legal assessment to the protocols that were previously signed is being actively raised.
