Bishkek, Apr. 7, 2018 / Kabar/. Border guards of Uzbekistan shot a Kyrgyz citizen, the Public Relations and Media Department of the State Border Service (SBS) of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
On April 7, in the Mamai area of Aksy region of Jalal-Abad oblast, Kyrgyz servicemen used weapons against a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, a resident of the village of Kurulush of Aksy region born in 1984.
According to data of the SBS of Kyrgyzstan, a Kyrgyz citizen was located on the territory of Kyrgyzstan and was heading towards Mamai village (KR).
Later he died in the local hospital from received wounds.
An investigation has started on the fact.
At present border representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are holding a meeting to clarify the causes and circumstances of the incident.
