Uzbek leader Mirziyoyev to pay visit to Turkey

Tashkent, Feb.18, 2020. /Kabar/. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit on Feb. 19-20 the Republic of Turkey at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, UzA News Agency reported.

Within the visit, the Turkish capital city of Ankara will host high-level talks and the first meeting of the bilateral Strategic Cooperation Council, chaired by the leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkey.

The state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in priority areas will be considered. Views will be exchanged on regional and international agenda issues.

Today, more than 1300 Turkish companies operate in Uzbekistan, the bilateral trade turnover of 2019 has made up $ 2.5 billion.
