Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2022 . / Kabar / . The Uzbek National-Cultural Center of the Kyrgyz Republic made an appeal to the people of Kyrgyzstan.
In its address, the Center expressed condolences to the families whose relatives and loved ones were killed during the events taking place these days on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.
"Kyrgyzstan has always followed the principles of mutual respect, good-neighbourliness, compassion, peacefulness and friendship.
Our country was and remains a multi-ethnic and multi-confessional state, where about a hundred representatives of various nationalities and ethnicities live in friendship and harmony.
Tajik troops destroyed and shelled border and civilian facilities along the entire perimeter of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border in Batken Oblast. This is unacceptable!", the address said.
The appeal of the Center runs that thr events on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border have made all the people of Kyrgyzstan even stronger in the face of external aggression.
"We have never allowed anyone to destroy peace and unity in our country. We are ready to stand side by side with all Kyrgyz people to defend our homeland and give a worthy rebuff to our enemies," the statement reads.
