Uzbek parliamentary delegation visits Ata-Beyit memorial complex

Bishkek, Sept. 21, 2021 . / Kabar / . Chairwoman of Uzbekistan’s Parliament Tanzila Narbayeva visited on Tuesday the Ata-Beyit memorial complex and laid a wreath at the tomb of writer Chyngyz Aitmatov.

The visit took place as part of the official visit of the Uzbek Parliament’s head to Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh said.

The parliamentary delegation of Uzbekistan was accompanied by Deputy Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Aida Kasymaliyeva.

The delegation visited the House-Museum of Chyngyz Aitmatov. Chairwoman of the Uzbek Parliament Tanzila Narbayeva stressed that writer and public figure Chyngyz Aitmatov is the pride not only of the Kyrgyz people, but also of the entire Turkic world, including Uzbekistan.

She left a note in the memorial book of the Aitmatov House-Museum.
