Bishkek, March 1, 2018 / Kabar /. The Uzbek Railways provided discounts for transportation of all types of cargoes transit through the territory of Uzbekistan in the direction of the southern regions of Kyrgyzstan and in the opposite direction from Feb.22 to Dec 31, 2018.
30% discount is provided for transportation of all cargo, the press service of the State Enterprise Kyrgyz Temir Jolu (Kyrgyz Railways) reported.
Earlier it was stressed that if the transportation of goods on this route is 300 thousand tons, then the subsequent cargo will be transported at a 30% discount.
Thus 30% discount has been granted for transportation of all cargo starting from Feb. 22, 2018.
In order to ensure timely implementation of bilateral agreements reached during the summit of Presidents of two countries held in Tashkent back in Dec. 13-14, 2017, the Kyrgyz Railroad submitted a proposal to the Uzbek Railways on providing discounts from Jan. 2018 at a rate of 30 % for all cargoes. The discounts will be for transportation of all types of cargoes transit through the territory of Uzbekistan in the direction of the southern regions of Kyrgyzstan and in the opposite direction.
