Bishkek, April 1, 2021 / Kabar /. Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will open a road connecting Rishtan region in the main part of Uzbekistan with Sokh region from April 1, UzA reported.
All checkpoints in this direction are brought to full readiness for this purpose.
Sokh region is an enclave completely surrounded by the territory of Kyrgyzstan. Undoubtedly, the opening of this road will create great convenience for the residents of Sokh region.
The border and customs post at this place, which is the most convenient road for the residents of the region, was closed several years ago, and the residents of the enclave had to spend many hours to get to the regional center. Now all these inconveniences will be eliminated, and it is possible to reach Sokh by the shortest road.
