Bishkek, Jan. 10, 2022. / Kabar /. Starting January 15, 48 hours before arriving in Uzbekistan, all travelers have to provide a negative PCR test for coronavirus infection, UzA reported.
Previously, all entrants had to provide tests made no later than 72 hours before arrival.
The decision was made on Sunday by the Republican Special Commission to Combat Coronavirus.
Earlier, Uzbekistan announced that the first COVID-19 Omicron variant was detected on January 7 in a foreign citizen who arrived in Uzbekistan from abroad.
