Tashkent, Apr. 24, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 10:00 a.m. on Apr. 24, the number of cases of COVID-19 coronairus infection in Uzbekistan has reached 1778, the Health Ministry’s press service reported.
The number of new cases of COVID-19 in the past day amounted to 62 people, while the number of recoveries - 113.
All previously introduced quarantine measures were extended in the country until May 10. However, quarantine restrictions will be gradually eased in regions, districts and towns with no coronavirus cases identified or the epidemiological situation has improved.
To date, 563 patients in Uzbekistan have been completely cured of coronavirus infection and 7 have died.
