Tashkent, Apr. 19, 2020. /Kabar/. In Uzbekistan, a fifth patient, a 77-year-old woman, died of complications caused by the virus on Saturday, the Health Ministry's press service said.
The woman was quarantined Apr. 7. Coronavirus was found on the same day. She suffered from chronic bronchitis, right lung atelectasis and hypertension.
At present, the total number of detected COVID-19 cases in Uzbekistan has reached 1,490.
194 people have fully recovered from respiratory disease.
Death toll has reached 5.
The first case of COVID-19 in the country was revealed on March 15.
