Tashkent, Aug. 31, 2020. /Kabar/. Uzbekistan documented on Monday another 348 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
According to the press service of the Health Ministry, the republic’s infections tally has climbed to 41 thousand 651.
Meanwhile, 460 patients have recovered from novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours, and 6 more people have passed away.
Gradual easing of quarantine requirements started in the country on Aug. 15.
Public transport, including the metro, as well as air, car and rail links between regions have been resumed in Tashkent. Requirements have been set for the resumption of various activities, as well as restrictions that will continue to apply.
The mode of "red", "yellow" and "green" zones has been reintroduced. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev demanded that strict discipline should remain the paramount rule for everyone.
Number of nationwide recoveries has reached 38 thousand 819 (93%), while death toll stands as 317.
Treatment is provided to 2515 patients, 250 of them are in serious condition, state of 137 assessed as extremely serious.
