Tashkent, July 18, 2020. /Kabar/. Uzbekistan's confirmed cases of COVID-19 have climbed to 15,896.
According to the press service of the Health Ministry, over the past 24 hours, another 547 cases were identified with 348 recoveries and 4 more coronavirus-related fatalities.
Additional quarantine restrictions were introduced in Uzbekistan from July 13 to Aug.1. In particular, hairdressing and beauty salons have been suspended. People over 65 years of age are recommended to observe the regime of self-isolation.
Throughout the republic, 8,655 people have cured of coronavirus infection, 80 patients have passed away.
6,813 Uzbekistanis are undergoing treatment. Of these, 70 patients' condition assessed as serious, 11 of them are in extremely serious condition.
