Tashkent, July 20, 2020. /Kabar/. As of July 1, 2020, Uzbekistan had exported 31,300 tons of cherries, which is 14,600 tons more compared to the same period of last year, UzA agency reported citing the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
Selected cherries for almost $61 million were sold in 18 countries. Thus, Kazakhstan accounted the highest share of exports - 16.7 thousand tons ($23 million), Russia - 9.3 thousand tons ($ 15.8 million), Kyrgyzstan - 4.7 thousand tons ($ 20 million) and South Korea - 124.3 tons ($496.9 thousand).
This year, Uzbek cherries were exported to Germany, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mongolia, Oman and Thailand.
