Tashkent, Apr. 20, 2020. /Kabar/.In Uzbekistan, restrictive measures (quarantine), as well as reinforced measures to counter the spread of coronavirus infection are extended until May 10, the press service of the Health Ministry of the republic said.
From March 30 to Apr. 20, traffic in Tashkent and regional centers is restricted, they are allowed to operate on the basis of special permits (stickers), and all airports in the country have completely ceased to operate.
Since Apr. 6, a self-isolation regime has been introduced in major cities, including Tashkent. Pensioners over 65 years of age and persons with chronic diseases are categorically forbidden to leave home without an urgent need. Citizens may go out only in urgent cases. The need to go to work is also an exception.
