Bishkek, Jan. 31, 2018 / Kabar /. Today at the Dostuk checkpoint, the citizen of Kyrgyzstan Asan Usenbayev, who was wounded by border guards of Uzbekistan during the detention, near the border, was handed over to the Kyrgyz side.
From the Kyrgyz side, in addition to the border representative of Kyrgyzstan, relatives of Asan Usenbayev, employees of the Kyrgyz Government's plenipotentiary representative office in Osh oblast, Territorial Subdivisions of the Foreign Ministry, the State National Security Committee and the health workers arrived in the checkpoint.
Usenbayev was immediately sent to the Osh Regional Hospital for medical examination, the border guard service reported. Today Usenbayev flies to Bishkek by the decision of his relatives. Ussenbayev's health status is currently satisfactory.
On the fact of the incident, each of the sides will conduct its own investigation, which determines the measures to prevent such incidents in future on the border from now on.
