In the first four months of this year, Uzbekistan exported 21.8 thousand tons of knitwear, UzA reported.
Comparison with the corresponding period last year showed that exports of such products increased by $12.2 million.
Sixteen states purchased Uzbek-made knitwear. In particular, the major importing countries included: Russia – $32.8 million, Kyrgyzstan – $28.7 million, Italy – $17.2 million, Azerbaijan – $6.2 million, Belarus – $5.5 million, Armenia – $3.8 million and Poland – $3.3 million.
In addition, in January-March in Uzbekistan, large enterprises produced 11.9 thousand tons of knitted fabrics, which is 13.9% more than in 2022.
