Tashkent, Sept. 21, 2020. /Kabar/. In January-June 2020, the volume of gold export from Uzbekistan amounted to USD 5.8 billion, which is almost 1.5 times more than in the same period in 2019.
According to the report of the republic’s State Committee on Statistics, for the reporting period of this year, the share of gold in the total volume of export made up 50%.
In the structure of export of Uzbekistan in the 1st quarter of 2020, the main share of supplies was also gold - 29,8% (a little more than USD 1 billion).
