Tashkent, Apr. 5, 2020. /Kabar/. From Apr.6, a compulsory self-isolation regime is being introduced in the cities of Tashkent, Nukus and regional centers of Uzbekistan, the press service of a Special Republican Commission to Combat Coronavirus said.
Under this regime, citizens are strictly forbidden to go out without urgent need, except for grocery shopping, medicine, visiting a doctor, as well as going to work. Travel by motor vehicles (scooters) and bicycles is temporarily restricted.
Disinfection works will be regularly carried out in major dehkan markets and shopping centers.
Moving along the streets and visiting shopping facilities and other places requires keeping a social distance of 2 meters.
Elderly citizens, particularly those over 65 years of age and those with chronic diseases, are strictly forbidden to leave the house without an emergency.
Citizens who violate these requirements may be held accountable in accordance with the law.
