A mobile application Self-Safety has been launched in Tashkent, notifying of the preservation of social distance of citizens faced with COVID-19 infection, Trend reported.
The application was developed by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, together with the Ministry of Health and the administration of the city of Tashkent.
The application uses data from the GPS and Bluetooth modules of the mobile device. If a virus is detected in one of the users, the system will match all intersection points within a radius of five meters within one minute. As a result of determining the intersection points according to the specified conditions, all users who were in the radius will be notified of a possible contact and recommendations for action in the form of PUSH notifications.
The mobile application will be available for Android and IOS platforms, the corresponding links are posted on the coronavirus.uz website. When registering, the application will ask to turn on the GPS and Bluetooth modules.
