Tashkent, Dec.18, 2019 /Kabar/. Uzbekistan’s first Amirsoy international standard ski complex in Chimgan mountains of Tashkent Province will be opened on Dec. 21 this year, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov said at the press conference, dedicated to this event.
He said ski roads of varying complexity and length of 15 km were built under the supervision of experts from Argentina, Spain and Denmark. Four of them start at the top of the resort, and the longest route is 3550 meters.
“Amirsoy ski resort will become a leading resort in Central Asia implemented on the basis of European and international standards," he said.
This complex is built using the most advanced and innovative technologies, occupies about 900 hectares of beautiful alpine meadows and is designed for 580 seats for guests. The project, worth a total of $100 million, also provides for the creation of 300 new jobs.
After the full launch in 2019, Amirsoy will have winter and summer infrastructure, including multifunctional centers, comfortable chalets and hotels, restaurants and bars, a sauna complex, SPA, swimming pools and much more.
