Tashkent, Apr. 9, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 3:00 p.m. of Apr.9, number of coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan has reached 582, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the republic said Thursday.
According to the Research Institute of Virology, 25 of 99 patients, treated at the institution, have symptoms of pneumonia. Seven patients are in serious condition.
The conditions of three of the 88 patients receiving treatment at the Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases are assessed as moderately severe.
To date, more than 70 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan have been tested for coronavirus.
As of the morning on Apr. 9, the number of coronavirus victims in the republic is 3, the total number of those recovered is 30.
The first COVID-19 case was detected on March 15.
