Uzbekistan reports single-day increase in COVID-19 cases by 329

Tashkent, Oct. 14, 2020. /Kabar/. Uzbekistan’s total number of COVID-19 cases has climbed to 61,859 after 329 new ones were reported on Wednesday.

694 Uzbekistanis with previously confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus infection have recovered in the past day, and the death toll has reached 510 as 2 more patients have passed away.

According to the press service of the republic’s Health Ministry, a total of 58 thousand 763 (95%) patients have cured of novel coronavirus in Uzbekistan.

Currently, 2,584 people are receiving treatment in hospitals.

The Central Asian republic has been fighting COVID-19 since March 15.
