Tashkent, Apr.1, 2020. /Kabar/. At the initiative of the Uzbek President with the aim to help eradicate the COVID-19 coronavirus, humanitarian aid was sent to neighboring Kyrgyzstan, the UzA agency reported on Wednesday.
The humanitarian cargo was formed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, leadership of Andijan Region, Uzbekistan Railways and Kurgontepa don Mahsulotlari bread factory, as well as domestic pharmaceutical enterprises.
"These are the moments when it's important to support each other. The humanitarian aid sent at the initiative of President of our country will be the support of the brotherly Kyrgyz people, who have lived for centuries in harmony with our people," said Shodilbek Mamajalilov, head of the bread factory said.
The cargo includes 1,000 tons of flour, various foodstuffs, disposable protective overalls, respirators, gloves, safety glasses, pyrometers and test systems.
