Bishkek, March 23. 2020 / Kabar /. The Uzbek authorities plan to build in a short term three hospitals in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent to treat coronavirus, Uzbek media said.
Chairwoman of the Upper House of Parliament Tanzila Narbaeva said that Uzbek president at a video conference emphasized that three hospitals will be built and commissioned in the capital in a short time and in the future they can be used for other purposes in the medical field.
She also noted that the pandemic has impact on the economy, the social sphere as a whole and people's mood.
“Today, a pandemic is not only a health system problem, it also affects the world of work and the economy. Therefore, our president, during a two-day video-conference, addressed the people. He noted that all forces have been mobilized to prevent the spread of this disease, there is an adequate supply of medicines and food products, and most importantly, there is no reason for panic and anxiety,” she emphasized.
Meanwhile, all enterprises of Tashkent to switch to a remote mode of operation from March 23.
The employees, who cannot work at a distance will be required to wear masks.
Recall that in Uzbekistan mandatory wearing a mask is introduced in public places. Fines are provided for its absence.
