Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2021. / Kabar /. Uzbekistan welcomes the creation of an interim government in Afghanistan, says in the statement of official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Yusup Kabulzhanov, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported.
Uzbekistan hopes that this decision will be the beginning of achieving broad national consensus, establishing sustainable peace and stability in this country.
“We express our readiness to develop constructive dialogue and practical interaction with the new state bodies of Afghanistan,” the statement said.
Earlier, the Taliban movement announced the composition of the interim government of Afghanistan. Hasan Akhund, the head of the movement's leadership council, became the acting prime minister, and Abdul Ghani Baradar, the head of the political office of the Taliban, became the deputy prime minister.
