The Ministry for development of information technologies and communications of Uzbekistan jointly with other interested ministries and departments of the country are developing the concept of information security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, according to UzA.
The concept will determine strategic challenges in the field of combating cyber threats.
According to the Ministry, the draft of the concept identifies the main threats to information security, which demand attention when developing effective measures for combating and prevention of cybercrime. Special importance in the draft is given to counteracting new trends in the use of information space in various illegal purposes.
