Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan is closer to 3,000

Tashkent, May 2, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 10:00 a.m. of May 2, 2020, the number of coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan has reached 2, 094, the press service of the republic’s Health Ministry reported.

In the past day, 48 cases of infection with COVID-19 have been revealed, 99 people have recovered and transferred to rehabilitation.

In Uzbekistan, all quarantine measures were extended until May 10. However, from Apr. 30, a partial easing of these measures began. The territory of 2 regions was declared COVID-19 free zone.

For today, 1,212 COVID-19 patients have fully cured, 9 people have died.
