Tashkent, June 29, 2020 /Kabar/. As of June 29, Uzbekistan’s number of cases of coronavirus infection has reached 8,031, the press service of the Uzbek Health Ministry reported Monday.
In the past day, 306 new cases were identified, while 89 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have recovered.
Also, 2 new deaths related to the virus were registered.
Uzbekistan has extended quarantine until Aug.1, and restrictions and rules on quarantine measures are in force in all regions. Since June 1, a number of activities have been allowed, depending on quarantine levels - "red" (high), "yellow" (medium) and "green" (low).
Passengers coming from countries with poor sanitary and epidemiological situation were allowed to quarantine the hotel at their own expense. Private clinics were allowed to conduct coronavirus tests.
5,329 people throughout the republic have cured of COVID-19, 22 have passed away.
2,680 patients are receiving treatment. Of these, 19 patients’ condition assessed as serious, 6 of them are in extremely serious condition.
