Tashkent, Apr. 7, 2020. /Kabar/. As of Tuesday morning, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan has increased by 32 to 504, the press service of the Ministry of Health said.
Earlier, Health Minister Alisher Shadmanov explained the acceleration of the growth in the number of detected cases by expanding testing coverage.
Since Monday, compulsory self-isolation has been introduced in Tashkent, Nukus and regional centers.
In Uzbekistan, a total of 30 people have fully recovered from coronavirus infection, two have died and more than 88 thousand people remain under quarantine.
This respiratory disease was first detected in the country on March 15.
