Uzbekistan's COVID-19 cases reach 34, 251 with 690 new cases

Tashkent, Aug. 15, 2020. / Kabar /. As of Aug. 15, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Uzbekistan reached 34 thousand 251, the press service of the republic’s Health Ministry reported.
690 new cases were registered over the past 24 hours, 1 thousand 348 patients recovered from coronavirus infection, and 3 people died.
A gradual easing of quarantine requirements has begun in the country from today. Public transport has resumed its work in Tashkent, including the metro.
Since the start of COVID-19 pandemic, 28 thousand 661 (84%) people have recovered from the coronavirus, 221 patients died. 5 thousand 365 patients are being treated, 1 thousand 289 patients have severe and 362 critical conditions.
