Tashkent, July 11, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 10:00 a.m. July 11, Uzbekistan's number of coronavirus infection cases has reached 12, 206.
According to the press service of the Health Ministry, 483 new cases were revealed in the past day, 243 citizens have recovered, 3 patients died.
The republic has tightened quarantine restrictions from July 10 to Aug.1.
In particular:
- Movement of vehicles in cities, regions is restricted (except for services owned by agricultural producers and movement of personal vehicles).
- Public and entertainment events, weddings and other family ceremonies are prohibited.
- Persons over 65 years old are prohibited from movement in public places, as well as from gathering more than three people.
- Work of sanatoriums, boarding houses, children's camps, guesthouses, beaches and other places of rest is suspended.
- Public catering (restaurants, cafes, canteens) is suspended, except for delivery services.
- Work of clothing markets and large stores selling goods; gyms, fitness clubs and swimming pools is suspended.
- Activity of preschool educational institutions, training courses and any circles regardless of their legal form of ownership is suspended.
- Restrictions and new procedures for international flights and cargo transportation are being introduced.
In particular, international flights will be halved and truck drivers will have to pass the coronavirus test.
In Uzbekistan, a total of 7,530 citizens have recovered from COVID-19, 55 have died.
4,621 Uzbekistanis are receiving treatment, 43 patients' condition assessed as serious, 10 are in extremely serious condition.
