Bishkek, July 7, 2020. /Kabar/. Fergana Region of Uzbekistan has provided humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan’s Batken Oblast - medical equipment worth KGS 6 million 300 thousand. These include protective equipment and diagnostic laboratory equipment.
According to the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, this event was held on the basis of talks between Batken Oblast Governor Alisher Abdrakhmanov and Head of Fergana Region Shuhrat Ganiev.
The leadership of Batken Oblast expresses deep gratitude to Uzbek president and the leadership of Fergana Region, the entire Uzbek people for their assistance in a difficult situation.
Earlier, the heads of the two regions provided a number of bilateral services on protection means, food products necessary to combat coronavirus disease.
