Tashkent, Feb. 26, 2021. / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov will pay a working visit to Kyrgyzstan on Feb. 27.
The press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported that during the upcoming meetings and talks, the Kyrgyz and Uzbek sides are expected to discuss key aspects of bilateral relations, the prospects for expanding and deepening cooperation in the political and diplomatic, border, trade and economic, transport, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
"There will be an exchange of views on further enhancing the positive dynamics of cooperation between the countries of Central Asia, the implementation of new infrastructure and transport and communication projects of regional and interregional scale," the report said.
On Jan. 11, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent congratulations to Sadyr Zhaparov on winning the presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan, as well as the successful conduct of a referendum on amendments to the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan.
